And one year later... ;)
We've managed to keep it going, however slowly, and now we're putting up a stand a rAge. We're cooking up some demos to show off our spirit and hoping to see you guys there.
You'll also notice we've had a website upgrade, hope you enjoy our new

Tinysquishy members visited the African Aerospace and Defense Expo (Official Site) on Saturday the 24th.
It was a really busy, really fun day. The event was held at Airbase Ysterplaas here in Cape Town. It was a beautiful sunny day with some amazing cloud formations framing the sky. A perfect day to watch high-performance aircraft tear through the wild blue yonder, including this viscious-looking beast of a warplane:
Expect virtual versions soon...

Finally - Tinysquishy has an on-line home. After 4 years of existance, we eventually got around to building our website.
Welcome to tinysquishy.com!
As you've probably read, we make computer games.
We are currently building our first attempt at moving out of the garage and towards official release: "Deep Pressure".
Deep Pressure is a fast-action multiplayer arcade game for the PC. You play as a member of a post-global-warming Salvage Diver hunting for useable relics buried in Sunken Cities. You face hordes of horrific deep sea fish as well as the dangerous high-pressure environment!
We are working towards a small and stable release and hope to market the game as a budget title for quick no-commitment gameplay for when you have a little time to kill.
Deep Pressure is built on the Spine framework from spineFORGE and indeed, is coded by the same software developer, Chris Rose-Mathew.
This game will be the first official release of entertainment software built with this system.
Building the game's look, sound and feel are designers and artists Sarah Kruger, Jean-Pierre Allers and multimedia-men RiC Shields and James Rose-Mathew.
We are not setting deadlines yet as we are all full-time in various other sectors, but we hope to have something great by the end of the year.
Wish us luck. We hope to ride the first wave of major releases from the (long-in-coming) genesis of the South African game development industry.
